Hi, welcome to Reason-4-Smile Weblog. I’m Robert, the person behind this blog.

Do you have limitation? I believe we all human do, each of us has different personality, character, background and experience, and that comes not only with strength but also limitation, those that makes each one of us unique.

So, what is this blog about? First, it is about turning limitation into advantages. Second, it is about helping introverts to be successful.

Turning limitation into advantages

Why don’t we ignore these limitations instead? Overcoming our limitations cannot be done by ignoring or resisting them; that comes when you befriend them. Robin Sharma, a leadership guru shares a quote that affirms my belief about our attitude towards our limitation…

What you resist will persist, but what you befriend, you will transcend.

Robin Sharma

To know more about me, I will recommend “my interesting (and useful) 7 flaws” article that explains to you my 7 flaws I am working on. You will also see examples on how we all can consider our limitations as advantages.
The article is one part of the whole series on turning limitation into advantages. For the complete list, I will recommend the following articles worth reading…

  1. The five steps to win with your limitation,
sharing with you the five steps to win WITH your limitation.
  2. The 7 interesting (and useful) facts about my flaws,
sharing with you much more about me and my 7 interesting flaws. You will see how I can see my limitation into strengths and advantages.
  3. Now you can consider your limitation as advantages,
sharing with you the reason why your limitations are advantageous to your personal growth.
  4. When it comes to relationship, limitation “sells”,
sharing with you how limitations are very important piece in any relationship.

Helping introverts to be successful

Is this blog only for introverts? I’m an introvert by preference, working on my introversion and limitations. Putting the “introverts” word there not to exclusively direct my message to the introverts; it is there to give you some understanding on what kind of limitations that this blog will share a lot. Few from the list are shy, selfish, low self-esteem, greedy, indecisive, and naive. And this I believe applies not only for introverts, but also extroverts.

This blog will help you -whatever personality you have- to understand the process of growing (Wisdom category), to accept who you are right now (Serenity category), and to step out of your comfort zone and grow to be successful (Courage category).

Whoever you are, I will need your contribution to this blog, let us help each other to find balance, to help ourselves and eventually to help others.

Another great article. It is always a pleasure to stumble your posts.

How did you get so wise - so young?

Hi Corinne, thanks for the compliment!

First, is that I’m looking forward to God, every day looking forward to wisdom from God! Not many posts I have in hand to be posted, so looking forward to Him to teach me something and give me wisdom to be shared to my readers!

Second, is that I’m reading books, blogging has boosted my reading speed as never before, whenever I find some interesting statement, I underlined them, and I wrote the page number at the end of the book, for me to refer to them again when I’m about to share them! Teaching and sharing in the blog makes me learn much much more!

Third, I’m also inspired by many blogs in the blogosphere, and one of them is yours! Thanks for sharing your wisdom, Corinne!

And by the way, I’m still young =), doing is not as easy as writing or talking, the reason I wrote down is
1. to declare what I’m pursuing, to be a better person…, sometimes we can’t affirm but we can start declaring
for more info, check my post..
Start declaring (though you can’t affirm)
2. as an action plan to learn from my failure in the past, so facing the same situation again, I can be reminded to do the right way…
It’s shared by Jonathan Frye in his blog, LeadershipJot.com
check this post for more info
Write it out!

Really appreciate your comment,
Robert

HI Robert,

I’ve got a technical question. How did you get the . dots, before each category and post in your sidebar. Are they part of the theme? Did I somehow erase that or did you add it? I like it!

Thanks

Hi Raha, how are you doing? It’s been a looong time =)

Thank you so much! for all the compliment and the blessing.
I also never knew this talent before, I guess we have to work it out and stretch ourselves with whatever we have. And from there, our talents will grow and expand.

Yup, I’m still in SG, looking forward to meet you when I’m back!
