I agree with Beds Melbourne. There is no need to make fool of yourself by telling the thing you know which is really not known by you. Its much better to accept about not knowing cause it will give you more knowledge to learn in your life rather than being foolish.

I like how you turn not knowing into a positive. I agree that when you accept you don’t know something it shows that you are hungry to learn more. People are too eager to impress by trying to answer every question.

You’re welcome. I believe it’s more of security. First, we don’t have to prove our value to others….Second, our value doesn’t depend that we look smart or stupid to other persons.
Quiet doesn’t have to be less charismatic.

We are gaining trust when we are contributing… with an action, idea, question, or even by growing and learning when we don’t know.

Hi, thanx for your warning. It really is a true thing that most of us don’t take into consideration & at the end we are to suffer and somehow i use to believe that an empty tin makes the loudest noise. So i’ve just realised that people who knows they keep quite most of the time & that makes them to be even more intelligent. Thanx a lot for your warning…

Nicole, thanks for the warning. Many people might take advantage when we’re saying I don’t know…, if that’s the case, we may need to make use of our knowledge instead. Sly as a snake, simple as a pigeon. We’re saying I don’t know with a purpose to learn and open for more possibilities. It’s not to be taken advantage of.

Exactly the way you ended the post. Saying “I do not know” is the easiest of things but, one has to be careful with using it with some types of people. Some people think that they have been sent on this earth to educate people who do not know and take of and go on and on and on ending up boring one to death.
