Thank you for a year of smile!

Nov 12, 2008 by Robert A Henru

Today is the one year of smile, one year of Reason-4-Smile Weblog. One year ago, I posted my first article in this blog. I got into the corridor when I’m moving from reason2smile.wordpress.com to this blog. And it has been a year of new and exciting experience to me.

I’m really thankful for all the friends that I have met in blogosphere. So I really hope that this will be an opportunity for me to give back and share some thankful notes. Last month, I wrote a post on how losing readers can make us smile! Inside, I’m referring a blog as a school whose readers graduate. Particularly, one comment from Jun Loayza shared about a blog where its alumni readers come back and visit. That inspired me to write this post, I hope that you enjoy your visit back here. And in a way or another, I want to say THANK YOU! I want you to know that you’ve been a part in my blogging journey at Reason-4-Smile Weblog, a part of my reasons for smile!

Let’s SMILE and party!

I was invited by Liz on her Successful-Blog party. It’s now my turn to invite her back, together with all of you! I’d like to hold a SMILE party! So what can you bring to the party?

  • It’s a group writing project. Do write a post, anything about smile! What is your reason for smile? What is smile to you? What is your most interesting experience with smile? How do you think “something” can make you smile? What do you learn from smiling? Anything about smile is accepted, only that please do link back to this post!
  • Or share any existing article you have about smile, have a word “smile” in it, or simply inspiring us to smile!
  • Or simply share your smile story in the comments!
  • Or all of them above! Deadline is 24th of November 2008.

Thank you, so let’s just start the ball rolling with the following acronym of S.M.I.L.E

S: Sets you free
M: Makes you special
I: Increase your face value
L: Lift up your spirits
E: Erase all your tensions

And if you don’t have anything to share, please remember this quote…

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile.
-Unknown

I’m sure you got something to smile!
Thank you and keep on smilin’!

Robert
