Blogging made me better with written words; but how about spoken words or public speaking?
I experienced that quite some time ago, even before I took my break and my holiday. That night I had church small group gathering and I was not in the mood of attending. It is the men’s [...]

Do you enjoy your success journey?
As promised, Reason-4-Smile got a new theme. The new tagline is “Happiness in Success Journey”. It’s pretty much inspired by Joyce Meyer with her program, Enjoying Everyday Lives. I wanted to do the same thing, or I should say the mini version with this blog: sharing and [...]

A few blogger updates

Do you enjoy Reason-4-Smile?
I have blogged regularly for 9 months and it was both fun and challenging. I have learned a lot of things from both what I read and write in blogosphere. I really appreciate all the support from all my faithful readers, and I wanted to share a few updates with Reason-4-Smile and I.

The blogger gets a team

First, I’d like to share that I will be a regular contributor to Winning Everyone, a blog whose founder is Daniel Richard and his gang. I love the vision of the blog which will talk a lot about Christians who shine in the marketplace, Christians who win and build people in the marketplace.

I’m really excited about the opportunity, especially as it is an opportunity to blog as a team, instead of individual. I’m sure it will offer a different experience. What is more exciting is the regular meeting between us and our readers that we will have in Singapore. I believe that will be a great experience.

Since I bought this blog domain (reason4smile.com), I have always tried to make this blog as open as possible to reach, inspire and encourage all people regardless of their religious belief. On the other hand, Winning Everyone will be a channel for me to write more about my Christian belief, what I learn from Jesus Christ and His Word. If you’re a Christian, or have some interest on our insights, please come, visit, and subscribe to Winning Everyone.

Here is my first article for Winning Everyone, published few days ago, Winning People with Our Limitations.

The blogger is having a break

Second, I will be taking a break for a holiday with my family for the next 2 weeks. I’ll take it as a chance to have a break from blogging as well. I will take it as a time to consider on the direction this blog as well. That might be a re-branding exercise of this blog. Please do let me know if you have any input/recommendation. That can range from your opinion with current branding (“Turning limitation into advantages, helping introverts to be successful”), things you like/dislike about this blog, suggestion for improvement, or expectation of what you want to read more in the future.

Thank you for all the supports so far. Hope that you enjoy Reason-4-Smile, and more than that, this blog can encourage you to be a better you!

For your success,
Robert

I hope that you have a great vacation Robert - you earned it!

Regarding the re-branding of your blog, I’d have to first ask what you primarily want from your blog. Making money? Connecting to more readers? I think whatever the answer is, you’ll still need for you to write with passion (as you have already been doing).

Hey, thanks Dan! I have no idea why it messed up, it happened while I’m away for my holiday. Thanks to HostMonster support for fixing it for me.

Thanks for keep on checking! Great to know that someone cares!
    Cheers,
