Hi Patrick, thanks for sharing your thoughts,
fear of rejection and failure are things that we're all usually afraid of, we felt as if we have no choice but hiding our talent. It's something great if you are able to see that you're way no ordinary and you have many that you can share and teach to others.

Best wishes,
Robert

Keep up the good work, people need to share the good news more often. We need a balance in life and it is the positive people that manage to get things done and still have time to help others...while others are to afraind of rejection or failure and they do not make the necessary effort so the failure begins with not trying or giving up when it becomes difficult.

@ Wyatt,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, again I second your opinion, we can sense that we are successful by looking how far we have changed and grown over the years, not by looking at how far we still need to go!
And comparing to others in never the right way to live our life.

@ Michelle,
Thanks for the comment, we're now using the same theme =)
This is really a great theme.

@ Nick,
Welcome to my blog! I agree with you that everyone is extraordinary, we all have something to contribute and something we can teach or share to others. A story to tell and a song to sing!
Thanks for sharing the story about your dad as well! Pass him this article =)

@ JMom
Thanks for sharing your story about women as well, it's great that we can find something meaningful even in daily routine or daily chores!
First step of any changes is awareness, it's great that now you're aware of your old habits, take a step to change and grow everyday, great to know you in the blogosphere!
All the best,
Robert

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the reference and drawing further discussion on the topic. As far as success goes, I think everyone has their own success in the areas they value the most. Success means different thing to different people, occassionally my confidence gets a knock on the head when i look at so many people who in my eyes have achieved so much, it is only when i focus on myself, my goal my vision, that i realise how much i have achieved comparing with the me in the past.

I think it's always important for people to discover their own success and their self-worth.

Good post!

hi Robert, thank you for visiting my blog.

My husband is really good at this, seeing his successess are true successess rather than just ordinary.

This is something I have to learn to do that's why I started my Living in Peace blog. I have to be more active in my living. We women are raised to not brag or to no put such importance in the things we do everyday unless it's something extraordinary. But really, when you think about it, the everday little things we do ARE extraordinary. We just don't always realize it.

That's what I"m trying to learn to do...to SEE my successes. I may not have a big time career, I may not be famous or rich, but I am successfull and I have to learn to see that and then to believe it.

I've got a ways to go. Old habits are hard to break, you know? :)

I like this Revolution template too. Nice blog you got here.

Hi Robert,

Interesting article. I don't like the word ordinary because I think everyone is really extrodinary! Saying you are ordinary really means, that you haven't yet seen the light within you, but it's still there. My Dad use to say he was just one of the ordinary guys, and that use to really tick me off, because in ways he didn't recognize he was extraordinary.

I agree with you, everyone has a story, or a song to sing. I think the world would be a much better place if more people told their story, or sang their song.

Thanks,

Nick
