On the news: Boomerang do come back! A boomerang has been returned after 25 years ago being stolen. It comes with the following note…
“I removed this back in 1983 when I was younger and dumber,” said the note, according to Mount Isa Mayor Ron McCullough. “It was the wrong thing to do, I’m sorry, and I’m going to send it back,” said the note.
It’s a wonder to see how someone can keep the guilt for 25 years, how can he live with that boomerang, the guilt in his life.
Jan from Queen of KAOS also commented in my article Welcoming Aging with Smile that her friend is apologizing for something even after 20 plus years not meeting up, and how it does not matter any longer for her.
All of us have mistakes in the past, many may still feel the guilt from the mistakes, but what I would like to say is letting go of your guilt! Do ask for forgiveness if you still can contact the person, but if not, don’t live with guilt! Learn to forgive yourself, ask God to forgive you and let go of your guilt!
Let go of your boomerang NOW!

Great reminder on forgiveness. What a load we put on our shoulders when we live with guilt. I know. I’m a living example. What I’ve found in my journey is that forgiveness frees up space that can be used to serve others better.

Hi Scott,
It’s so true, guilt is unnecessary burden, living with guilt we will very much intimidated, we’re all imperfect people, but that’s how we can help one another, imperfect people helping another imperfect people! As you say, freeing up space to serve others better.

Robert
