Another question which can either soothe your fears or sometimes bring up more fear is What is the best thing that can happen? Some people are fearful of success.

Hi Megan, glad that this article can benefit you.

I learned this as I experienced the arrow breaking exercise in the seminar. I imagine the arrow representing the belief that I'm not good enough. That's how I motivated myself to break the fear!

That motivation check can be a good indicator whether the little voice is coming from fear or love.

Hope you can apply it as well!

Thanks a lot for the appreciation =)

Robert,

What a wonderful article! Yesterday, I was reading a book by a friend of my mom's and it was so poignant and timely! It talks about your inner voice. Another question she suggested to ask is "is this voice coming from love or fear?"

I find a lot of times, the voice that's the loudest in my head is coming from fear, so having your 5 questions (4 and one statement--lol) is also right on time!

I really believe this was an answer to something I had been asking over the past couple of days.

I appreciate you!

Hugs,
Megan

Hi Liara, yes and actually that's not easy, discerning the our conscience and our ego/fear. The question #3 and #4 are meant to help us discerning between them. If it's better for us not to take the step forward, then we should not make the step.

Thanks for the comments.

Its also useful to discern if the voice you hear is your ego or the observer that is the true you. Their personalities and observations differ greatly.

The last one is key for me. I say, "Thank you! And goodbye!" It works really well to dispell the fear. Thanks for the insight.
