Save the cheerleader, save my world!

If you have watched the TV series: Heroes, you must be familiar with original version of the statement above, “Save the cheerleader, save the world!“. This message is not about the TV series, but it’s about the cheerleader.
If you have ever watched any sport game before, it can be soccer, basketball, rugby, etc, you will see them, supporting their favorite team to win the competition. It would be very nice that we will have cheerleader when we are fighting, when we are growing or when we are pursuing our dream. It would be nice if all our friends are our cheerleader, to save our world!
Too bad, that’s not the case! Sometimes we won’t have any cheerleader, we are faced with many criticism, will we still have our world, or does it fall apart?
This message is inspired from my experience last week, a close friend of mine criticized me on blogging. One says it’s a waste of time, another says I should go out, socialize and not writing and blogging at home. When I shared my passion, they are not excited at all, they find it too silly, I think too much, and so on. And the bad things, it came from friends that I trusted.
I guessed, Joel Osteen is having the same struggle right now, the recent podcast I heard from him really encourages me…
Sometimes you have to have faith that stands alone.
Joel Osteen
What should we do when we have no cheerleader, or when we are faced with negative criticism:
- Accept the fact that not everyone, not all your friends will see your vision, it’s not possible to have everyone to cheer or support you, be thankful instead for all the people, even if it’s only one or two, that encourage you to pursue your dream.
- Stay and hold on to your passion!
I you wanna be leader, you must accept criticism, that’s part of the package, you can’t choose only leadership without criticism, you must take both. - Don’t depend on others to make you happy, enjoy yourself, you may have made some mistakes, we’re all not perfect, we’re all learning and grow from our mistakes. Be happy about who you are, believe in your dream and what your purpose is.
- In your mind, thank them, take the good things, take it as if they do concern about our benefit and well-being. Even if there is nothing good in what they say, it helps you to learn a lesson about criticism, and for me, another inspiration to post a message in my blog.
That’s what a leader does–he rises above. When you are willing to stick your neck out, someone will want to chop it off.
John C. Maxwell
If you don’t like who you are, you’re gonna constantly put pressure upon other people to constantly make you happy, and it’s not their job…
your personal joy is not somebody else’s responsibility.Joyce Meyer
I hope this message will bless you. Stay on smiling, God above is your cheerleader!

Robert, when you decide to do something and you have persistence on doing it, you will eventually get the results that you want. Focus on the purpose & result not on the obstacles which you face right now. Like Harv say - What your focus EXPAND.
Remember what I have told you before, the four principles on achieving anything in your life. Now you are in the progressing phase and also the most challenging phase. In this phase, you will sure find the obstacles, setback, difficulties as well as pain. And, it is the time and great opportunities for you to take this lesson and overcome it. Once you overcome this and succeeded on what you doing. Not only you gain concrete experience and also moved yourself into a different era.
The other thing about one of your close friend who are not supporting on what you do. It is totally fine, different people view on one thing differently. And also, not all of the people will support on what you are doing, sometimes you will face even bigger hardship when your family member not supporting you. So, there are 2 questions here to ask you
1) What are you going to do next?
2) Will you regret if you do not do it?
For my humble opinion, I will ask your heart, is it the thing you really want to do? As long as it is moral, ethical and legal, I will go and do it. I won’t regret if I fail on doing something that I like but i will regret if I never even try it at all.
Bro, the other thing I want to share with you, do only something you love and where your heart is longing for. You do not need to set any goal and you will excel it in flying color. Listen carefully, “YOU DO NOT NEED TO SET ANY GOAL”, coz that is the core desire deep inside your heart that drive you to master and get success on the area which you most interested. So, you need to find out what is your core desire. When you find it, no one can stop you of doing something good and great to your self, to achieve your dream and become someone who you think you are. KEEP IT UP & GO FOR IT.
