This post is a copy of my new About page, it’s about renewing the blog with a focus for more specific reader, the introverts, shy and naive, the person who is reflective and deep thinker, but someone who is aspired to become a leader, a better person.

Me myself started as an introvert, shy and naive person, but aspired to become a leader, not an easy dream with such characteristics, of course. But that’s what this blog is all about, a journey of overcoming weaknesses, accepting our current limitation and courage to change. It’s all about growing! And especially, the introvert way!

Why am I inspired to become a leader?
Simply because I want to shine, bring creativity into reality, helping more people and bring them to achieve their dream. This is a very good quote about not to play small:

You’re a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

What will a leader take?

Leadership has a lot to do with characters. I’m inspired by a message from Dr. Albert Ting (principal of Singapore Bible College) regarding leadership, Here is the 3 factors necessary for a leader, can be shortened as 3P:

Purpose
have a clear purpose and vision of what your goal and your dream to achieve
People
have the capability to influence people to follow and contribute in achieving the vision
Person
have a respectable character and full of integrity.

Who should read this blog?

1. Anyone who is aspiring to grow, grow to become better. Open-minded people, who is willing to learn and grow, even if it does mean taking a baby step each day. Keep growing, keep walking, keep ticking! That’s the important thing!
2. Introvert, shy, and naive? This blog is very much related with my own struggle, and it can easily relate to the introvert, shy, naive, deep and thinker people.
   If you’re an introvert, I will post my article as if I talk to you guys, take as much as you can from this blog, relate and reflect the principles against your character and life experiences, and start taking action to change if you need.
   If you’re an extrovert, you can learn about growth, can be about developing your introversion as I believe that leaders need to balance their introversion and extraversion. You can also learn more about dealing with introvert people and managing introvert people.
3. Christian? I’m a Christian and I can’t help it, my life is much impacted by God, Holy Bible and Christian leaders. It’s what Adrian Ng mentioned about God-soaked life. I will share a lot about God and His promises in the bible. It might be hard for you to make my posts relevant if you’re not Christian.
   One thing I would like to say for non-Christians, I WILL NOT try to convert you! But I do hope that the articles can help you too. If you’re not comfortable with Christianity, you can try to relate it with the God you believe in, or even the universe maybe, as shared in the Law of Attraction (popularized by the book, “The Secret”).
